1. Thanks Paul for the response. Nice to finally meet the Boss.
2. Dumb Aussie boy like me might need more instructions.
I can insert a quote....I can insert a link....I was just wondering how to make a long link shorter?
Glad to be of help, my pleasure
But how would I turn this;
Into a short word like;
Think I just may have solved it
Thanks very much

Hey BigBuck, if you see something you are unsure how it's done, click on "Quote" for the post you would like to do what they are doing, and you will see how the person has done the feature that you want to do... Clear as mud
For future reference also Buck....on the top menu bar next to User CP is our FAQ link with a Reading and Posting Messages link. As part of that is....Are there any special codes/tags I can use to markup my posts?
For more information about vB code, click here.
I always thought Sir Paul was from a parallel Universe....now I know....."Quote"...in the 'LEFT BOTTOM CORNER'??....Ha! Haa!....Your secret is uncovered.....Come on, tell us who you really are.....Oh! Great One....
Short links are for softies! Real men use massive ones - like this one for Wilders...
Or better still...
Ahhhh Paranoid was only teasing you, that's just the short version...
That looks like a yahoo link to me. Know 'em when I see 'em!
Toto are we in Kansas yet?
Worst thing about that one from Paranoid is, it won't fit into Favorites, so you have to memorize it and enter it by hand into the address bar.
WOW!! I clicked on that and actually got dizzy! It felt like a carnival ride!
Now, exactly where am I?
Am I still here?
Whoaa! Good one, P2K!
Going for a cheap thrill ride - again! BYE!!
Thanks one and all! I think I've got it now.......
You've got to draw the line somewhere!
Separate names with a comma.
