    Hi all,
Just to let you know in case you would be facing the same issues that I opened a new support ticket after today's update to .75

I was having problems in IE9. I couldn't log in to a secured https site using certificates stored on a card, blocked certified active X, blocked Java plugins etc. So I hadn't other chance than to mark IE9 as "Allow" in Protected Applications under section Identity Shield. Since then no problems to work with IE9. Looking to hear from support.

Furthermore, no padlock over WSA icon in the systray even if using Opera which is set to be "Protected". Never been problem for me.

I don't have IE9, but can confirm that the padlock no longer appears in the WSA icon when using Opera, and logged into a secure site.

Could you let me know if you're using the LastPass toolbar within WSA?

    Thanks!

LastPass toolbar is in WSA Complete only! But I don't have this issue with IE9, FF 9.0.1 or Opera 11.60 on Win 7 x64!

Firstly, I went into Settings > Heuristics > and adjusted the sliding Tab bar to High:Medium:Medium for each of the Tabs - Local, USB, Internet, Network and CD/DVD.

I then restored the padlock, by going into Identity & Privacy > Protected Websites > click on button 'Reset to Defaults'.

I tried it but to no avail. The padlock is still missing. As for my problem with IE9 I have been asked to create a log using special tool provided by support so I am awaiting their reply. Hopefully they will also identify a reason for the missing padlock.

Support said they are looking into it. For now I should leave Internet Explorer set to "Allow" under the Identity & Privacy section.

The 8.0.1.82+ build which we're planning on releasing in the next day or so should correct these issues. I'll let you know once it's released :)

Hello, just to inform you that .82 didn't resolve my issues, problems in IE9 described above still persist and the missing padlock as well :(

Can you try uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling to make sure all of the .82 components have been placed over fully?

I will indeed be updating my signature whenever I get a chance :D

    Thanks!

No success. Clean reinstall didn't help. The problems remain. Meanwhile I got a message from the support that v.82 had some other changes, so Webroot development team is still working on this issue to get addressed o_O

Could you let me know if you're using the 64bit version of IE or the 32bit version? I suspect we might not be seeing the issue due to the unpopularity of 64bit browsers.

    Thanks!

    Hello Joe!
Webroot support said I should continue discussion about my issues directly with you here on the Wilders, so please be kindly informed that update to .92 changed nothing. WSA still blocks credentials, plug-ins, java etc. while IE9 is in Protected mode and the padlock is missing all the time as well. Hmm ....

    Hi pegas,

Lets start at the beginning please list all security software that is running in reatime also any IE9 addons and BHO's? If you can uninstall all other security software and uninstall WSA and reboot and then do a clean install of WSA 8.0.1.92 and leave it at the default settings with the link provided from the Closed Beta email and reboot then please report back!

    Thanks,

    TH

    Hello Triple Helix!
Thx for your input and here's my reply.
Only NIS2012 and WSA is installed, no other security apps. No IE9 addons and only usual BHOs, i.e. Java, Norton, Microsoft, Adobe etc. Tried also everything what you suggested but to no avail. If there is no other suggestion I think then the best and quickest way how to solve my issues is a remote session. Joe is already accustomed to wander inside my PC and to fight my native language :D

Does disabling both the Web threat shield and Identity shield correct the issue after closing/reopening your browser? We haven't seen any similar cases at all so this definitely strikes me as odd.

    Thanks!

    Hello :),
Unfortunately not. I tried disable the shields you mentioned and also others and it doesn't correct the issues. There is only one solution and it is to set Allow for iexplore.exe

    Hello Joe!
Updated to .131 and the issues still persist. Can you kindly draw attention of the support team? It is more than one month I reported them but nothing has been made so far.
    Thanks!
