I've read that perhaps even TV and radio can be delivered via 5G. I think it's a very bad idea because of the radiation. Let us stick to DVB-T and DAB please.

This does little worry me. 4G currently uses frequencies from 700 MHz to 2.6GHz
5G could use frequencies from 600 MHz to 86 GHz

Now, as the radio frequency increases (and the network speed gets higher as a result), it's wavelength also shortens.
This means that you need more and more towers to cover the same area than previously to get any speed advantage over the older 4G.

    Or in otherwords:
Lower the frequency, the longer the wavelength and less towers needed but also speed lower.
Higher the frequency, the shorter the wavelength and more towers needed but speed higher.

In the years past we were all laughting about the possible effects that cellphones radiowaves might have to human skull. Soon no need to laught because air filled with radiowaves ....

5G is a killgrid. Wake up people. There are numerous scientists screaming out about this all over the world and others besides. Wheelers words are chilling. He "wont wait". They are installing millions of transmitters everywhere, on anything they can. There's numerous reputable videos on 5G. Look up Martin Pall, said to be a very respected and leading authority on it. To a degree people can stop being fried. Don't bring wifi into your house. Don't purchase wi-gig (60GHz) devices. Grow trees around your property. The signals don't travel far, that's why they need millions of transmitters.

Non-ionizing radiation is not harmful to humans, especially not at the output you get from wireless towers.

I don't believe that for a minute, after hearing numerous accounts from people who have studied this. There's boat loads of information from people like Dr.Martin Pall; Dr.Devra Davis; Dr. Erica Mallery-Blythe to name a few.

You can choose to believe whatever you want. I am a physicist, I worked for several years in the medical industry with CT scanners. And I even have a patent on reduction of non-ionizing radiation in mobile devices based on the ALARA principle, because it's better to minimize exposure if possible, which is what 5g antennas should do. I know a fair deal about radiation, and non-ionizing radiation is not dangerous unless we're talking massive energy - pointing an airplane-borne laser designator at your gonads or standing in front of a Mig-25 radar for a few minutes won't do you good. Wireless towers? Fine.

    Wasn't aware.

I just read your article about entropy and I enjoyed it a lot. Nice light reading, so thanks a lot.

We learn something new about members all the time.

So with that much clear enough, you speak on non-ionizing radiation. Then there is no reason for 5G to ionize that frequency bandwidth but a good question is can 5G be adjusted to become ionized? That might be of some interest if the potential is there.

Now as far as for what reason we'll leave well enough alone on that one :)

@Mrkvonic - Not trying to be inflammatory disrespectful or minimize your qualifications but it's not a case of just "believing what I want". We all need to evaluate things out of our field. Personally I think what matters is in any evaluation one makes, it should be at least unbiased and honest whether one is qualified to speak in that field or not. So, one collates the relevant information (which some people would arguably dispel some points as not relevant) and come to a decision. I'm not a physicist, but I've looked at information from people who are and others who are qualified to speak. I don't know them but I don't know you either. All things considered I see no reason to believe you over them. Again, I'm not trying to be inflammatory, but it is what it is.

You're always going to get naysayers just like you're going to get nutjobs who overstate things to such a degree that any issue under the microscope is subsequently laughed to scorn. This is no different. There's a difference between people looking for the next thing to cry wolf about with no solution in sight, than people trying to warn of impending danger with not only anecdotal evidence but scientific evidence.

My conclusion is 5G is a weapon on a massive scale and you're going to have to cover a LOT of bases, some of which lie outside the bounds of this forum, to convince me otherwise.

That information is public knowledge :)

The frequencies are way too low. X-ray is in the range of 3 × 10E16 Hz to 3 × 10E19 Hz.
This is at least six to eight orders of magnitude higher than the current proposed spectrum range of 5g.

Moreover, you want as many towers around, because then your phone needs less energy to work. There's more risk from your phone using its peak antenna power close to your ear than a tower 50-100 meters away. Radiation drops with distance - inverse square law, imagine a sheet of canvas and a torch illuminating it, as you move farther away, a smaller proportion of the torch beam hits the canvas. Same with any radiation source (except laser and specially lensed/collimated sources, but that's different).

    @Mr.X, thanks.

The Federal Communications Commission has a website that explains how they test
    cell phones for safety.

    (Plastic Mannequin Heads and Bodies)

What SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) Does Not Show

As of Aug.30,2018 244 EMF (electromagnetic field) scientists from 41 nations
have signed an appeal for protection from non-ionizing electromagnetic field exposure.

    https://emfscientist.org/index.php/emf-scientist-appeal

Those who have a vested interest in 5G technology will do their very best to downplay
the health risks. Some may dismiss it altogether.

@Mrkvonic There are only two ways to make 5G faster than 4G now:
    1) Increase the power output for each individual celltower so that the waves can reach farther,
    means: more radiation, not good
    2) Increase the number of of celltowers because the reach of one individual 5G celltower is worse than 4G, means: more radiation, not good.

Either way, there will be more radiation than ever filled within 5G coverage.
I really don't like the idea of being a guinea pig for big money corps (god have mercy for those that live year after year under celltower .... :()

Stefan, that's not really how it works. But I cannot argue against conspiracy theories and paranoia.

A warning to those that will cut down the converted lightpole outside of their house with the antenna on top (5G won't use towers), please DO THIS AT NIGHT!!!!!!!! Cutting it down during the daytime (God Forbid on a sunny day) will expose you to radiation from sunlight in the THz range leading to who knows what adverse health effects.

So the best time to chop those suckers down would be at night- although noting that Tin foil hats will still be needed to protect against the Mind Control weapons targeted at you from the ** bases on the moon.

From an eternal throwback who is lived the life of 15 cents gasoline, nickel bag potato chips, and silver dime Coca-Cola (in cleaner glass 12oz cold bottles), frankly would like to see the return again of the telephone booth. You might remember the one's, each with their own thick bind telephone book and overhead nightlight, and the same one's you could take shelter in (and maybe another couple folks with you during a driving rainstorm.
The one's where when you dialed 0, a living human on the other end was your helpful assistant.

Hey, but if this whacked out generation can ride the new radiation wave in high style 5G and their hair not fall out, more power to them.

After all, it's about improving our health right? Or rather our easy convenience.

    Right.

As for "conspiracy theories" you can't argue against them because they don't exist. What you can do though is label people with such mindless phrases to make them look stupid just so your voice presides over theirs. You can't argue against "paranoia" either because even if you're medically trained, diagnosing someone in a forum is as dumb as it sounds.

Of course the me generation is suckered into convenience above all, which, over time doesn't do much for their attention span.

Aside from some issues there's a general consensus among these people below and what they're saying: that non ionizing radiation is having an adverse biological affect on life, that 5G will significantly increase that risk. According to Dr. Devra Davis, "cellphones emit pulsed microwave radiation ... it's the pulsed nature of the signal that's problematic .... it has nothing to do with the power" Besides all this, the danger to privacy when the IoT is in full swing facilitated by 5G will be off the scale. Devices in the home all pushing out data to who knows where about who knows what and the breaches are already here and we've barely got started yet.

Tom Wheelers forceful tone addressing 5G shows there's more to this than meets the eye. Being first out the gate to make billions just for filthy lucres sake (as bad as that is), is just an added benefit along the way to what the PTB really have in mind. Tom Wheelers speech has been uploaded many times over and I just picked one them. From about a minute in to 2 minutes, he gets real pushy and emphatic - doesn't want any holdups no tests no studies etc
