4.0 specs better or worse?

I am still at the using latest 3.x version of ESet Smart Security. No issues at all that I know of.

Is the new 4.0 faster?

Does it use less or more memory? Or is starting to bloat slightly?

I plan on waiting until version 4.1 or close to that before I upgrade for safety sake.

More features more memory, but considering the amount of new features they really did a good job of cramming it in, see the new feature list.

Probably a wise decision.

 

by faster if you mean scanning speed, yes v4 is faster in Full scan mode, wait to see some of the reviews to prove this.

you don't need to wait till v4.1, I believe next batch will correct issues

I find V4 faster, more streamlined and uses much less system resources. I have it running in two networks (one business and one home) now with no issues.
