3rd party SATA controller

Hi there,

I'd like to clone my current Vista64 system partition (on the ICH9R controller of my southbridge) to another SATA drive which hangs on a dedicated SATA controller: HighPoint RocketRAID 2300.

I assume that the Disk Director will need the driver for the HighPoint controller to recognize the disks attached to it - right?

Does Acronis Disk Director allow inclusion of 3rd party drivers?

Not directly. You can contact Acronis Support and request a custom build that includes support for your hardware or you can create a BartPE or VistaPE CD that includes DD and any necessary drivers.
