If they were in the mailpack #1 I generated a while back, I expect answer next week. If not, let me know and I'll send to the management asap.

If you'd be so kind to go to TS>Cleanup, then expand EVERY category, and those are:
    - plugin cleanup
    - junk cleanup
    - Game and Application junk files
    - Windows System junk files
    - Cache files generated by phone utilities
    And System Backup Cleaner

You'd know why I prefer TS more than CC :)

This is NOT me telling people not to use cc, just me telling people that I, personally, prefer TS more than insertnamehere product.

I am a huge fan of centralized command center for various stuff. All in one place, all playing along nicely with each other.
That does not mean I don't use other great stuff, like iobit Smart Defrag 4, Game Booster 3, Tweaking All-in-one repair, GeGeek and other handy stuff :)

If my memory serves me well, and it doesn't, I vaguely remember something about investigating all the claims until Sunday, if I get the time, to make the report.
And I promised independent investigation on all that to put the final word on that.
So, either I manage to do that report if time allows or I don't. Nevertheless, no post is being ignored by me unless notifications panel goes bonzo or I simply miss it due to being at work at the time. Still, a reminder is a very nice and kind thing to do :)

I traveled again and came last night, so I'm not gonna be able to finish the report for today. Most probably I'd do it next weekend, saturday or sunday. Sorry for waiting, busy schedule

Ok. I understand it's not a simple task. Especially taking into account that you are doing it as a volunteer, not a Qihoo worker.

    And finally

And on and on and on..... So, here it is, and many more waiting, for those, impatient. Since this is a "can of worms" thing and, it can/could result in a nuclear exchange, this better stop soon, while it's cold.
Why? Because in the business world, numbers tell everything. And the higher the number, the better the paycheck. And the bigger the paycheck, the bigger the power. Tencent, Baidu, Qihoo, etc... Are the US, Russia and China when viewed geopolitically. Which is which does not matter. What matters is the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sphere_of_influence
Having more sphere of influence means having more power, domination.....

So, this is something which should not concern ordinary user as this is in-between thing. So far, no privacy violation has occured from Qihoo's side, no export/sell of data.
To wrap this thing up, only thing that gets from user to Qihoo is exe, tmp, zip, dll files which are unknown and for virus analysis only. Qihoo's AI is not interested in someone's personal life, but what unknown file does to a system.
    For Chinese users concerned http://www.360.cn/about/englishversion.html
    How is data stored:
    From Yunpan:
Saved to disk file 360 cloud went through a rigorous encryption program, only you can access your personal data through the account password. Cloud plate 360 project staff is unable to even access to your data. In addition to saving 360 cloud disk file, have done more than a backup, even if the disc 360 cloud cloud storage service center somewhere in the engine room of a server is broken, do not worry about data loss, because you can restore access from the server room to the other data .
    http://c69.yunpan.360.cn/index/help

For the rest, either wait for full style report, or do own research.

P.S. Above is just 0.005% of the whole story, so, so much to do, so little time.

P.S.2: When I finally do it, I will close the lid on this stuff and just concentrate on more, meaningful things, like, well, what I'd been doing it up until now :)

Fu Tong is not backing down.

A virus was discovered last November, the WireLurker Virus. WireLurker is a virus capable of stealing personal information from Apple Mac computers and most iOS-based devices.

Hundreds of thousands of Apple devices were infected in early November by the virus, called WireLurker, which collected call logs, phone contacts and other sensitive information. The virus could also be spread to other devices if they were connected to computers that were previously linked to infected iPhones.

Qihoo said on November 6 that it had identified the virus. Two days later it started offering its users an update that would remove the virus from their phones.

Industry insiders said Qihoo 360’s response to the virus was abnormally and suspiciously fast. It released the first WireLurker cleaner on November 8 and announced its 360 Sec USB – released in September – already prevented the virus. Moreover, it was able to point the police to the virus’ alleged author in less than a week.

Posts on a Baidu bulletin board said Qihoo was behind the recent virus attack on iPhones. Baidu lawyer Fu Tong said at a press conference that Baidu refuses to delete the posts -- because they are true.

Qihoo 360 Technology Co. Ltd. has filed a lawsuit against Baidu Inc. saying posts on the search company's website that blamed a virus targeting iPhones on the anti-virus firm had harmed its reputation, a lawyer has said.

Qihoo has already lost to Baidu in court multiple times, and they have lost to pretty much everybody else they sued too.

    I believe Fu Tong.

    You're Welcome.

    I' don't :)

    http://www.pcworld.com/article/2848272/suspected-wirelurker-malware-creators-arrested-in-china.html

Maybe because they are not willing to comply with the Government demands of "freely sharing" any data with the Government, and so they get sued every time for just flipping the ON switch in the company? Or because someone does not like sharing the market with Q360 and wants more because not enough cash is piling in the accouont?

If we're gonna turn this into a war Qihoo vs the world, so be it, truth is on the Q side :)

But more and more I see this as a bait-and-switch to get all Qihoo topics closed, so it cannot push internationally, something that Baidu is taking on Qihoo very, very seriously, ever since pushing out PC Faster :)

This has gone too far, and from now on, I am ignoring these kind of stuff.

For all others concerned, people, you have the brain, use it for yourself, do research for yourself, don't have me or Frankie here tell you what is or what is not.
As long as you breathe, think, wish and want, you are alive. So, be alive :)

I never understood why you, as an ordinary user, feel/felt compelled to rush to Qihoo's defense every time someone spoke out against it. Seems to me that defending the company's reputation, and or, its actions, good or bad, should fall squarely on the shoulders of Qihoo itself and its officials. The amount of work/time you devote to their cause you should be added their payroll, without a doubt. :)

    Just maintaining the ballance :)
As for Qihoo, they have a kind of "i should care exactly why?" mentality, even Zhou is famous for trolling news reporters just for the lulz.
Seriously, who wouldn't want to have a boss like him? :p
~ Removed Off Topic Image ~

As for the real reason, until Qihoo makes up their mind for having English forum with real people support, this is kind of help me=help you based on experience.

Now, all this is beind done volontary, for free. I really like their products [TS, Extreme and Yunpan, hopefully weshi makes it to English [if ever...]...
So, this is kind of my "thank you for free" to them :)

And that's the thing.. He shouldn't.

    Gak handles this all wrong.

He makes statements that are 100% false. He makes all sorts of errors in logic and reason. He makes it personal... If I wanted to go to the personal level, I could tear apart all his unsubstantiated claims and illogic with ease.

Everything I've posted -- not one bit is Frank's Opinion. It's all in the public domain. It's published. It's sourced.

But when Gak makes a statement like this: "So far, no privacy violation has occurred from Qihoo's side, no export/sell of data." This is an unsubstantiated, baseless, wothless claim. Just because you want to believe it does not make it so. I've presented plenty of published information that indicates substantial privacy and other problems (<<Yes, link there) with dirty Qihoo. Gak's statements without any sort of substantiation are like, uh, worthless.

From the beginning to current day, Qihoo is always accused of privacy violations and they always threaten to sue.

When Qihoo disseminated a fraudulent Microsoft security patch -- that told you everything you need to know about dirty Qihoo. How does one try to defend that? I guess you don't -- as it's indefensible.

Not many companies are labeled complete frauds, but yes, Qihoo even managed that too.

If Qihoo has proven anything, it's that they will sue anybody that they believe crosses them. But certain publications are not sued... as Qihoo is afraid of what the court will expose... yet again.

    But this is all unnecessary.

All Gak's gotta do is be more pragmatic and more truthful. And the truth could be -- he hopes that Qihoo is not the Cancer of the Internet (<<Yes, link there). He admits that some information does not look so good for Qihoo. But he likes the products and hopes that dirty Qihoo can clean themselves up going forward, as the larger Chinese market further develops and establishes beneficial regulatory structures.

I like Symantec. My Wilders bud @Firecat thinks Symantec is dirty. I don't debate him on it. I'm actually interested in what he has to say. I might learn something from Firecat as I have in the past. And the day Firecat convinces me that Symantec is dirty is the day I dump their products.

Gak, yes, you should let it go. If the fact that Qihoo is dirty (backed by many court decisions and independent entities) does not bother you, don't engage in the debate and just keep doing what you are doing. Just let it go and move on with helping people with the product.

But the ridiculous defense of dirty Qihoo you put forth is beneath your dignity.

    Your Best Buddy,

    -Frank

As I've said, this should be my final statement on this. I encourage people to do more research themselves. If people find anything bad about qihoo, don't use it.
If they find anything good, use it. End of story. I have provided enough material for a good start, who is in the management, company history, technology, financial statements, cooperation with many companies worldwide, present and future projects, how many people are using Qihoo, etc....
Frankie here has provided just a sample of court losses to Q360, originating from the same kitchen of Baidu and Tencent :) And then are some blogs, personal interpretations and opinions. And we could all go on and on and on and on, posting this, posting that..... In the end, I've seen what the company is, I've seen what they could do, I trust them and use their products and wish they could go globally and challenge the competition. Maybe then we would get healthy products from the others, in fear of losing customers.
In any case, everyone here knows how to write text, search google, turn on a computer, etc. You are qualified and competent for researching for yourself.
I, again, encourage it. Do it freely.
I assume we don't have to ask for permission from Frankie to do that, otherwise this thing might turn out to, well, something like this:
~ Removed OT Video Link ~
    Trust me, that is bad.

Anyhow, back to...... normal, I guess :) I'm not going down this road again :)

The problem is how to determine if the source of info is credible.
