$30 off on Vipre Products

I forgot to consider about the renewal fee.

It seems like I can't know how much the renewal costs until 30day before the current subscription expires.

And I checked their forum a bit and it seemed like the fee was the same as a new purchase of the product without any discount.

When I purchased a license, the subscription already started without an activation of any kind.
Considering that, I got an impression that it might be unable to do something like
[1] Get a key at low price.
[2] Activate the key at later. (After the ongoing subscription period expired)

Renew it at $39.95 is way too expensive for my feeling.
I feel the fair cost of renewing is at
1year 1PC - $30
2year 1PC - $40

How about your experience of renewing the Vipre subscription?

 

Never actually renewed even though using the AV/premium version for a couple of years now on one of my machines.

As you can always find very cheap offers throughout the year; Black Friday/boxed ebay versions.

As you said, There were many boxed ones with reasonable price at eBay!

As for discount deals like this NewYear one or that BlackFriday one,
I'm bit anxious if a bought license can be merged into the existing subscription.

But It seems that a switching to new license while old one is running out must still be much cheaper than normal renewals.

I'm now sure that I will be able to get Vipre at cheap.
