    using spyware blaster 2.02
when I checked for updates I saw the 2/28 ones
download OK -- but when I selected to protectfor "all" I get
error number 9 and sub-script out of range.
the "window" is then blank -- no list
I check the folder and the sb-database file is deleted.

    Hi Frobozz,

You can replace your lost sb-database by going to our downloads section and downloading it from there (4th from the bottom).
I´m sure Javacool will swing by to help you further.

    Regards,

    Pieter

That's an older version of the file - I would recommend simply downloading the following two files, and then placing them in your SpywareBlaster folder:

    http://www.wilderssecurity.com/sbdatabase/sbdatabase.dtb
    http://www.wilderssecurity.com/sbinfo/sbinfo.dtb

Have you recently installed a proxy, or changed your proxy settings? If so, the next version of SpywareBlaster will have proxy configuration options.

    Best regards,

Thanks -- this *seemed* to have worked. I'll know for certain the next time there is an update to this great program.

Have not recently installed a proxy
I use Proxomitron -- IE6 --WinME & ZA (some latest beta version)

    thanks again

    :) Hi Javacool and all,

I run proxy software and have never had to adjust the settings to get a LiveUpdate. Naviscope 8.70. (Which reminds me, it does not phone home like 8.69 did. I checked it using Ethereal.)

I'd just like to say that I really like SpywareBlaster 2.0.2 and Spywareguard. Beautiful apps and I have never had any problems with them on my soon to be obselete Win98se.

These two provide a greater measure of security and privacy. I recommend them to everyone I know.

    Best regards from Larry :)
