    Hi, I'm another one having trouble with this dialer. I'm really not very knowledgable with a PC, but fortunately I had a step-by-step guide from a helpful internet user to try and clear It up as much as possible. As comprehensive as the Instructions were, I've probably still managed to mess up or miss out something, possibly with 'lsass.exe' and/or 'svchost'

    I'm wondering If you would be so kind as to have a look over my HijackThis log I saved after running Spybot & adaware, and advise me on further action required;

    Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
    Kenny.

    Hi KennyM,

    Welcome to Wilders.

    Check the following items in HijackThis.
    Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Runner] C:\WINDOWS\lsass.exe /i

    O16 - DPF: {11111111-1111-1111-1111-111111111123} - ms-its:mhtml:file://C:\bla.MHT!http://216.115.95.98//7ble.chm::/wincfgid.exe

    Download CWShredder and run. Be sure ALL other windows are closed use the Fix button and follow the instructions you will receive.

    There also may be hidden files. See HERE for how to show hidden files.

    Then reboot into safe mode and delete:

    C:\WINDOWS\lsass.exe

    Reboot and then post a fresh HijackThis log.

    Regards,
    Kent
