im thinking about buying 4lic's to the internet security version (i dont think i need the highest version) if it works out okay but id like to be able to really put it through its paces. is there anywhere to get a longer trial than 14 days for the internet security version?? as a example i bought 4 lic's to avira which at this time are unusable due to the bsod issues i have with sleep with it. i didnt find that out however until a bit of time later after installing it. im surprised since 14 days is not very long to put a piece of software through its paces.

    just curious thank you

got your pm, still think there should be at least a 30 day trial imo.

I figure there will always be people who want 10 days, 14 days, 30 days, 60 days, 180 days, or even a full year "trial". The company probably figures out based on which is most effective at convincing people to buy it after trying it. Should be noteworthy that they have a 70-day Money Back Guarantee, so 14 day no-strings trial and a 70-day trial with a security deposit is not too bad.

Also I've seen way too many people who use a 30-day trial as a monthly "Get a new free trial" system instead of deciding, but the 14-day wrecks that pattern. So they ruin it for people who are legitimate.
