    Great info!!

    Amazing! The ability to run a "Live" Linux OS to surf the web is only one of the many good uses listed to put one's thumb drive on.

    It would be like running SandboxIE and Returnil together on someone else's machine and not worrying about messing it up!!

    I am not sure this old machine could do it but, it makes for a good argument to get a better machine.

    Ok, I just installed Puppy Linux on a 4 GB flash drive. Booted fine. It was simple and easy. Right now writing from Puppy Linux, booted from flash thumb drive. :thumb:

    Good real world verification.

    If I worked for Microsoft this would make me worried as now Linux can be spread via a thumb drive used as a demonstrator.
