    Would like to say Hi also to everyone..
    Have'nt been active here before like a regular guest mainly for the reason that English is'nt my own native language. But that have'nt prevented me from visit this great place from time to time, so I guess I can be included as one of the guests in your traffic of driveby visitors through the years.
    So by this words I'm looking forward in meeting you guys around here on this highly reputable International well known place and source for knowledge.

    Thanks to staff, vendors et al (members). This is very cool.

    What exactly is a "good standing" account? Are number of posts or last post date relevant factors?
    How do you estimate the number of possible participants?

    "Good standing" simply means that the member is not in any state of warning or suspension. Like most forums, we have our share of spammers, posters of warez, as well as moderated and banned members. Those members whose accounts are in such moderated states are not considered to be in good standing.

    We haven't. The number of participants will end up being the however many people decide to enter by the end of the 4 week contest period.

    Yeah i don't have ISP mail either.
    I remember back in the days they used to offer one, but in the recent years (3-4) they stopped offering it unless requested :'(

    hopefully with 100,000 members,it means people
    are starting to take their computer security a bit more
    serious which is a good thing.

    Hi Paul;

    I'd like to congratulate all the members for making this forum the best there is pertaining to pc security. I personally have learned a lot here and compared to where I was last year I am now more security conscious and carefull. Also, through my interaction with you gurus I have helped my pals on some insights about a thing or two about security set-ups and tricks that I have learned here.

    Thanks to the administrators/software developers-help who guide us here (especially newbies) to interact/participate more.
