10 Notepad Replacements

    Been their done that: this idea of replacing the default Windows notepad is not too good. I forgot what i was using, made it slow just opening the notepad just for a microseconds, which sometimes can be real irritating.
    Instead download and install Notepad++ and use it, reading long txt and integrating in the Context shell will get used to and its not to slow to load.

    Leave default as default....imho

    Unless you are a programmer, most of those notepad substitutes are bloated by useless capabilities. On the other hand, if all you need is a faster, more efficient, intuitive, superb replacement for notepad, then I suggest you try Metapad.

    So you use metapad, fulltime by replacing it or integrating it in the c:\windows\system32 folder or just as any third party software like notepad++....
    just curios.
