What happened to the "INFECTED" folder. The quarantined files were (by default) saved to “C:\Program Files\ESET\infected\ ”. Each infection was stored in two parts, one with the .NQF extensions, the other with the .NQI extension. With version 2.50.25 you use Quarantine "Submit for analysis"....What happens to the infected file once you have submitted it
Hi cliff: One would have to manually add the file to quarantine and this only places a copy and does not delete the original. Check your Event Log after using the built in submission system. If Eset does not already have the sample, you will see "The file 'c:\windows\system32\thenastyfile.exe' has been sent to Eset's labs for analysis." I hope this helps.
