Just been down in the Cellar...(Back in the Archives)....and had a look through some of the Threads in Ten-Forward and Software and Services etc., circa early 2002 for instance.......THERE really is some good stuff back there.....a trip down memory lane, well worth the walk......try it......I can see now what was meant by some of this later stuff suffering from the 'Piffle-bug'......... :D :D
Just as an instance, read some of the stuff by the Most Famous 'MR. BLAZE'...Computer Whizz Extraordinaire....and Master of telling it how it is....like it or not.... :D :D

You can't reply to a thread if the last post was made more than a year ago - I think there is an exception in the "polls" section.

No replies needed in that thread, as Detox said, much too old. ;)

Like I said, reading Mr. Blaze's Posts is a way to live by....an education in a down to earth nitty gritty outlook that defies any form of contradiction.....in other words..."Never argue with Blaze, he'll leave you for dead"..... :D :D :D

When I first came to Wilder's it was because of a problem. I got the problem fixed and then thought I would look at the other posts. I ended up in Ten Forward. I had never posted in a forum before and to my comeuppance I made the mistake of answering one of Blaze's. By the time he got thru w/me I didn't know whether I was comming or going. He said he was going to keep an eye on me. Maybe thats why I'm always looking over my shoulder. :)

    Play on, big ed
