    Avira Pro is better than Avira Free? o_O I thought they use the same engine! Nice results from AVG and Avast too ... :)

    ye ESET did very well, and looks like Vipre wasnt so hot either in this test.

    Looks like GData is up at the top again. Seems to do very well in this type of test.

    Symantec isn't doing well, but this is just one test.

    In this test Vipre isn't doing well, which seems to be consistent with other tests. Honestly, I don't ever expect that to change. VIPRE has been in the works for years.

    Trustport appears to have done the best. Not a name I have heard before. Anyone using it here?

    Not surprising that products with multiple AV engines score a better detection rate (G-Data [BitDefender, Avast], Trustport [EWIDO, AVG, Norman, Dr.Web]), but the trade-off is poorer performance and lots of FPs...

    I don't know but G-Data have never gave me any performance issues :argh:

    In fact Avira (I'm using it now) lags a LOT MORE than G-Data when set to high settings. (I'm talking about the File Guard options) :D


    Nice results, the usual top players at first xD
