    Hello all,
We were wondering what your thoughts are on additional browser support. Currently we support:

    - IE 5/6/7/8
    - Firefox 1/2/3
    - Opera 9/10
    - Chrome 2/3

and the next browser in line will be Safari. After that, however, what other browsers would you like to see added? It's hard to differentiate between some of the smaller browsers in traffic logs so I think some of them may get unfairly low rankings, especially when built upon other engines.

Feel free to make posts and duplicate other posts so that we can get some feedback on browser popularity. Then, I suspect we'll either add the ones which are clearly most popular first or start a poll to decide which ones to add next.

Thank you for your input! :thumb:

That's what copy+paste gets me  It is Opera 9/10, not 2/3 :) Opera 10 will be much better supported in the next build :)

Can it be assumed that Chrome support also covers the variants SRWare Iron and any compiled from Chromium source (e.g. latest Roboform alpha)?
Not in a position to test myself as I'm 64-bit.

Iron definitely! If prevx supports the Chromium source browsers wouldn't Iron and Chrome both be supported? Maybe that's a dumb question. Would Prevx detect and protect the portable versions also?

Iron definitely seems to be a favorite here :) We won't necessarily protect Iron out of the box even though we protect Chrome. Our protection itself is browser agnostic but the invocation of the protection is browser specific so in some cases we may not fully see the modified browser variants.

However, I suspect it will be relatively trivial to add protection for Iron on top of Chrome's protection :) I will keep everyone updated with our progress and decisions with additional browser support!

    Hi there,

I would like to see support for Maxthon, too.

But primarily for Maxthon 3, because Version 3 relies on webkit engine and on IE engine.
Version 1 and 2 relies only on top of IE..

    regards,

    I'm trying Chrome Plus
    http://www.chromeplus.org/
Much better than Iron with FireGesture & more cokkie and privacy manager (as firefox) and no spy your browsing
It's based on Chrome 4 that at the moment is not supported to SafeOnline
i think if you sopport for Chrome4 it automatically work in this release and all other Chrome 4 based
