New version or not????

Can someone just say whether there is a new version or not instead of just leaving a link.

I like many others didn't get an email about anything and would just like to know if there is a new version or not.

 

There's a new build (not version) which has not yet reached the USA. It's build 9770 in the UK. The version remains the same, 2009.

What is the difference between the UK build 9770 and the USA build 9788?

Thank you for using Acronis True Image

The UK build 9770 and the USA build 9788 don't differ a lot. Practically, the only difference is that the installation files are tied to the appropriate serial numbers, i.e. you are unable to install the program using the UK installation file and the US license, and vise versa.

My "registered products" page still says only 9709 is available for download.

How long does it take things to update so we can see the new build available?

So Oleg you dont recommend me to buy Acronis on line from the USA when I live in the UK?

I thought the whole idea of the internet was it was world wide and that we could shop outside our own country.

I think I bought Acronis from the USA on line as it was cheaper than the UK version. So this added complication of different builds between the USA and the UK is just another money making scam.

That just sucks.
