    Hello,
Once he gave them CWShredder, they let it die.
I guess the same will happen to HJT... another one bites the dust.

No wonder, they care about making money only. It seems.

If not, you'll release the source code?

I hope not, because HJT is used in all Malware Forums to help users to clean their computer.

See that and installed it tonight. Hope they can add something more needed for us in examinations of those results plus removals.

Thanks Merijn for such a tremenedous effort on our behalf over these many years and all the best to you in the future.

Good luck to Merijn and I hope he made a bundle on the deal.

But I do worry about the future of Hijackthis, now that it's in the hands of a for-profit company. What exactly was their intention in buying it?

This transaction reminds me eerily of Microsoft's acquistion of Process Explorer, another free, very useful tool. Who knows what PE's future will be now? Look what MS did to Giant AS, once a very reputable highly regarded AS app. MS AS is considered a mediocre performer.
