How to make Acronis boot disk on USB?

    Hi guys

    I would like to know how to create an ACronis Bootable media on a USB drive? Can i just copy the contents of the bootable CD ?

    just wondering.. thanks

    For starters, the Bios in your computer has to have the feature to boot from the USB port. If it does then you have to format the flash drive as Fat 16. But I don't know if you can just copy the BootCD contents.

    Oops .. that should be Fat NOT Fat 16.

    shouldn't Acronis bootable Rescue Media creator work with USB-Flashdisks?

    anyway, i tried it once, it failed and since then i stuck with SYSLINUX (and that works, although netboot is much faster). For Trueimage alone you only need the kernel.dat and ramdisk.dat. But if you want to manage the Acronis SecureZone, i think you are stuck with the official methods, which means Acronis BRM.
