   for the last 2-3 weeks my computer barks at me. it does it without me doing anything in particular at that time. sometimes it barks even when it has been idle for a while. sometimes it barks 3 times a day, sometimes 10. i have run virus and spam detectors with no luck. please help.

   You wouldn't by any chance be using win patrol ? If so there is is a box to un check with regard the sound of the dog bark
