My NOD32 license expired about a week or so ago and I am so scared to death I am going to get a virus on my computer.
Rite now I am using AVG free but I do not trust it as good as NOD32 because I don't know much about it yet.
The entire year I had NOD32 I did not get any viruses, and the day after my license expired I uninstalled NOD32 in order to install a new anti-virus.
My computer got a virus rite after I uninstalled NOD32 and I had to do a complete re-install of Windows which was less than a week ago (I am pretty sure a virus caused it, I posted about Windows not working).
My question is,,,is there a free trial version or any beta NOD32 available for me to useo_O??

Hi SonyaM32, you have 30 days to renew your license upon expiry, so you still have time to renew at the lower price, all that happens with a late renewal is that you expose your computer to the very latest viruses, as Nod32 will not update until the new license is applied.

Currently there aren't any Beta's available for XP Home or Pro.

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers :D

I'm sure they will, in your case contact support @ eset.us and they should be able to help you further.

    Cheers :D

You can send a PM to Bandicoot.
He will help you, since he's from USA too. :)

Most Distributors accept online renewals, some Resellers do the same.

    Cheers :D

I'd trust NOD32 with 1x month old definitions and heuristics over AVG any day of the week.

I telephoned ESET earlier today and was told that there is no such 30 day limit.

That's at odds with info here https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=150856 I guess we'll have to wait for Marcos or someone else from ESET although I have no reason to doubt Blackspears knowledge on the subject since he is a reselller.

It's not so unusual for the left hand to not know what the right hand is doing in a company.

Just yesterday, I got amazingly wrong information from a health insurance company.

I repeated the question and kept getting the same answer.

Re: My NOD32 license expired, I have a few questions

There is a maximum grace period of 30 days to renew a license beyond expiry, and this is worldwide. Beyond 30 days you will be required to purchase a new license.

Would you seriously expect to go back to Eset after 10 years and say my license ran out, I would now like to renew at the current renewal price

You really do like to argue the point don't you Howard, if you continue in this manner then the helpful souls that frequent Wilders will eventually lose interest in replying to your posts, knowing full well you are only here to argue.

As this thread has been answered it is now closed.

    Blackspear.
