At last! I've been meaning to ask you this qusetion for close to 2 years now,so exactly what is the limit on Application Filtering?(exactly please?) and what is the limit on Internet Filtering?,thank you Frederic, I have heard so many different numbers,80,100,120 ,so please can you tell us once and for all the how much can we enter in both fields App's & Internet filtering? And one more question why is there a limit? Thank you for your time.

Hi Kush,

The current maximum number is set to 128 (it was 80 in old versions).
There is a limit for design simplification, and performance reasons.

Usually the list keeps growing without purge. Having a limit forces some regular cleanup for applicatons that are no longer used.

Maybe a Purge/Cleanup button would be useful, which would remove all entries which referred to an application which no longer existed.

 

Actually, an automatic purge is already present.
If the number of applications is near the limit, then application for which the path is no linger valid are automatically removed.
