Compact Firefox SQLite databases with SpeedyFox

    There are several Firefox add-ons available that compact the places.sqlite database. SpeedyFox does them all! It is not an extension, but a small standalone app. I've used it for several weeks now and am very pleased with it. And yes, it's fully portable.
