Just noticed that on ewido web site there is 4.0.0172c available. Just 2 questions:

    1. Do we need to download and reinstall or will be get this through updates.

    2. What are the changes?

Thanks & have a good day,

From the past experiences of 172a and 172b, it seems like 172c is just a minor update for the installer only. Newer builds (for example, 173, 174 or 180, if available) will be automatically downloaded from automatic update.

Hm...If a newer build is available, it may be over be 180, I think. Some bugs were found after build 172 and as Vineznz has said, a new version has been complied and is being tested by the Grisoft Review team before releasing officially.

The new setup only contains the new definitions instead of the old ones. Btw. the new definitions are about 25% smaller than the old ones -> smaller updates -> less resource usage (about -10mb for each ewido process :))

Yes that update did take a bite out of my resource usage. It's running a good 10-15% lighter here. Thanks a bunch Ewido crew... :thumb:
