  1. Does this mean signature updates or and software updates?

Does ewido automatically update and software or user have to download&install new versions manually?

    Hi,

With the unlimited license you will get the plus license for lifetime including all software updates and upgrades, premium support, realtime protection, kernel layer protection, automatic updates, etc.

Lifetime means that as long as you, the company or the product exists.

There seems to be a discrepency between the list price and the purchase price. Is the 69.95 a discount? :D

Yes, thanks Triple Helix. There's even an extra 10% off if you upgrade to the lifetime subscription (at least that was the offer for me in the USA).:D

    Regards,
    Jim

  8. Hi, Triple Helix

Could you tell me if you used Firefox to Purchase it, because I have been to the secure.element5.com page filled in the the required info but there is no way to proceed forward to make the purchase.

Also can vinzenz.ewido tell me if the unlimited licensed version can be used on a home network. [i.e. like Ghost SS, unlimited licensed products]

Thank you both for any help you can give me

    Take Care,

I also just purchased the lifetime license . Can this be used on my home network? Or do I need to purchase a license for each computer?
    Thanks

The "unlimited" does not mean unlimited installs. It means unlimited time. So you would need 1 license per pc.

Triple Helix, should you choose to do it, your hard drive will self-destruct in 10 seconds, good luck.

Of course that won't be a problem. But installing ewido on multiple pcs at the same time is a problem.

I also assume that if I purchased a new computer the license would still be good. Is that correct?
    Thanks,
    Jerery

Don't reinstall XP too many times. I did, and now everytime I need to reinstall it, I gotta call Microsoft to get a new serial or whatever it is. They put you on hold for like 45 minutes... Now I truly hate them

Since I have several licenses, is there any chance that in the future there will a discount for multiple renewals?

Why don't you make an image of your installation (after activation) with TI then you would not have to install from scratch anymore. Just install the image.

Back in the FAT32 days, I used Ghost - Worked perfect.
Anyways, I'm not really sure which product to choose from. 90% of them has no trial, and I only try before I buy.

Well, then you could have a look at Dantz Retrospect... they have a trial version and so does Acronis TI I think, yes they have too, I checked.

    Ciao

  24. Hi, vinzenz.ewido

Thank you for your answer, sorry to just be getting back to you [been unwell].

But at near four years in advance [I year=£16.95 GBP] £45.95 for the Unlimited updates version is not a good investment at my age, so thank you, but no thanks.

    With Regards
    Take Care,
    TheQuest

PS: Just as well I could not order it with Firefox. [then to find it was for one PC only]
