bootable dvd even with large image

    Seems I am not the only one to want a bootable dvd, tried all sorts of ways, ended up with a lot of beer mats.
    so, here is my solution:
    1. create a bootable cd using Acronis True Image
    2. create an image of your partition to back up, select fixed size ( 700 cd size)
    3. burn the image(s) ( all parts of it if multiple) onto a dvd ( they wont corrupt in iso as the file size is ok)

    to restore
    1. boot from cd into the main recovery window
    2. put the dvd in and restore from that

    ok, it's not a bootable dvd, but it works and is simple to set up, and large images work fine!

    Or just create a bootable DVD. No disc swapping required.

    Note that with ATI8, you need to specify 1.9GB or smaller chunks.
