    Where ist the rest of logfile? none can judge on that small amount of text.

    so you can guess why its called "Adware cleaner" and not "malware cleaner"?
    malware is upper group name including adware, trojans, viruses and more.
    MBAM and HMP are two complete different programs, i prefer MBAm with its offline signature base while HMP scans online with several engine. MBAM is free forever (not the pro), HMP is shareware 30 days trial. make you decision now ;)

    Noting a false-positive issue that I believe was not fully addressed.

    Hello everyone

    I have a question?

    When I run ADWC it finds Mysearchdial and I select to uninstall.
    The next thing that happens is nothing and the ADWC exe dissapears.

    And still have Mysearch dial..

    Is this how it is suppose to go? You run it and the exe is deleted?

    Thanks

    Be very careful if AdwCleaner gives a warning about the following three registry entries. They are part of the registration for the compression library XceedZip.dll which is used by many legitimate programs.

    Key Found : HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{4C836512-BB70-11D2-A5A7-00105A9C91C6}
    Key Found : HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{DB797690-40E0-11D2-9BD5-0060082AE372}
    Key Found : HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\TypeLib\{DB797681-40E0-11D2-9BD5-0060082AE372}

    You mean those Registry entries are false positives ? It's generally known the tool has a high false positive detection rate and should be reported to the Developer.
    Here's a link to the tutorial

    Less the unfortunate high false positive detection rate - it is a super tool.
    Auto update is likely in the works but I would not be aware.
    The changes text seems to have been altered as of the last while but it was accurate at the time of my last post.

    Whenever I run this tool on someone's machine I get a warning when it is outdated.
