Very similar to Baidu AV - in features and options. While installing it cheks others security apps and...if needed...uninstall them - Baidu AV in my lap. It's next app from "chinese brother" of Kingsoft and Baidu but I don't know why i's called "internet security"?

Asian antiviruses on the rise? Doesn't the GUI ressemble Baidu AV a bit too much??

This could easily be the best free AV. Fully interactive, no ads, light, some proactive protection as well. Excellent results on AVC and Av-Test.

Webcam protection successfully blocks the Zemana test.

More options if you click the downward arrow.

How can they offer this product for free? Is it wrong of me to be dubious of security software from China?

Evidently they make more than enough money through other venues.

    From wiki

Haven't you read the news lately? It's not China you should be worried about...

    Just a quick little review.
    Includes:
    RT file protection, USB protection,
Proactive defense, URL filter, Download protection, Webcam protection
3 AV engines (2 RT on default, QVM II off)
    Rootkit scan (off default)
5 process running at roughly 28-35K

    Pros:
    -Installed in approx 15 seconds.
    -Installed on Win 8 x64 w/o a problem
    -Instantly updated itself.
-UI is very modern and fresh.
    - Scheduled scans
    - Quick scan lasted 2 min. (On fairly fresh Win 8 install)
    - Runs very light on the system.

    Cons:
-It did ask to uninstall WSA but it gave me the option to skip.
-Updating bitdefender engine was kind of slow.
