Wiping drives & usb sticks

I have a infected system and need to wipe 4 drives (3 internal and 1 external) and two usb sticks. I have a dban disc from 5 years ago but I have read here at wilders that dban doesn't do track 0 and HPA. I don't know how important these two areas are and the ramifications if it's not wiped.

I d/l HDD Eraser which is what I really want to use but I can't find any info if it does USB sticks.

If anyone knows of a program (preferably free) that can do this and clear track 0 & HPA & USB sticks it would be greatly appreciated.

The other day I used my BootIT NG to Delete the Partition, Clear the Boot Sector and Wipe the Partition.

I tried using the freeware, CopyWipe bootable CD, to write zeros to all sectors, but CopyWipe would not recognize my new 8 GB USB 2.0 stick. It did recognize my old 1 GB USB stick.

I tested the bootable version of Partition Wizard to see if it would recognize my 8 GB USB stick and it did recognize it. However, I did not wipe (zero write to all sectors) the 8 GB USB stick with it.

The freeware Windows version of Partition Wizard should be able to recognize and wipe your USB stick if you want to do the wipe from Windows.

Thanks for all the good links. I forgot about BootIt NG. I have this program.

The last time I wiped a partition with it, it was very slow, but that was a while a go.

Throughout my searching I came up with BC Total Wipe Out. It will do all the drives simultanously and HPA, DCO areas as well.

 

Jetico BCWipe Total WipeOut is the best for this kind of task. Very recommended.

 

You know what's funny, throughout my searching this program was literally the only candidate because it explained two of the most important features it has which is HPA, DCO and all the other programs never mentioned it.

I'm using the trial version for the first time and then I will purchase.

 

How about Kill Disk?
