Does Prevx Safe-Online Facebook free version have limitations compared to the
the one that is offered to actual Prevx website $14.95?

The default download is 32bit but will then go and get the 64bit version if it detects you're on a 64bit OS :)

Thanks. I want to test 64-bit version compatibility with my existing security setup. Is it OK?

My only question is, can you get the Facebook SafeOnline and then still purchase the other components of Prevx into that?

Or is the Facebook version only free as a standalone?

Because essentially what you guys are doing is giving the world SafeOnline free as long as they get it from Facebook rather than the main Prevx page, which actually is not only very generous of you but smart, because Facebook is where the word gets spread, and if they know how light your SafeOnline is, they'll believe you hopefully when they see 1-2 minute scans as good as your current AVs 1 hour scan.

God Prevx is better than pound cake.

You are correct :) With the Facebook download, you should then be able to apply an antimalware license on top of it - if anything doesn't work with this, however, send me a PM with your license key and I'll merge them :)

    Yes exactly :)

No it doesn't and anyone can download it! It's just a promotion that they advertise on Facebook to help secure Facebook users but it is a Full version of SafeOnline and it will protect all your Online transactions and Banking info! You can download here from Prevx: http://www.prevx.com/safebook.asp

That's really perfect. Users are provided with the state-of-the-art security product free of charge even though the facebook version always trails latest release of Prevx/SafeOnline (currently .185 vs .187). As regards company Prevx it speaks for itself how their marketing is strong and smart enough in aiming to Facebook users because a half billion of possible users is definitely worth to care about. However it is still a promotion in the end and every promotion elapses. Prevx is naturally silent about that but guessing we can expect some restriction sooner or later. A paid upgrade to Prevx 4 is a fashionable manner for instance. Anyhow a big admiration and thanks to Prevx:thumb:

Joe how can a FB SafeOnline user have the most current one? Can they download from here: http://info.prevx.com/downloadsafeonline.asp and install over top of the FB version? Like pegas said FB version it still at .185 and the current SafeOnline is .187!

    TIA,

    TH

I don't believe they will be able to at this point - we update Facebook/other partners at a slower pace just because of the number of users on them and to try to spread out the load.

I suspect we will upgrade existing Facebook users soon (and the Facebook version in general) but for now it's probably best to stay on the 185 release as that's the latest official Facebook version.
