Pretty darn awesome now i think. Still have to envy some other set ups but you can't have it all all the time, over all am well pleased and the end results are unmistakable.

We owe a great debt of gratitude to some "NEW" security vendor's who somehow suddenly stepped out on the stage out of nowhere one day with their ideal objects, and all of the sudden they helped turned the tide in the end user's favor where before he was walking a fine line.

In most cases "The End User" is nothing but a cow... to be milked for profit...
It's nice to see real improvements in thinking and a fresh perspective on things...

Vista setup is quite easy. I am running the following:

    Tweak UAC - Silent Mode
    Windows Firewall - OFF
    Windows Defender - OFF
Bitdefender Internet Security 2008 - Fully Enabled
Geswall 2.7.1 Free - Browsers Auto Isolated
Services Tweaked - Black Viper Recommended
    Spyware Blaster - Fully Enabled
    Main Browser - Firefox

And that sums it up. I don't really use Vista setup, I use my XP image more.

Pretty tuff, I have to say it prevents most RKs from running all, although I have noticed that some RK's files .sys .dll etc are able to get created to the HD but the RK is unable to run. So basically I get an alert, I use Tiny Watcher to do deep scan to see what gets through then reboot to restore is in order. :) I use it mainly for its hardening features. If I wanna burn CDs or watch DVDs I need to disable the block rootkit settings its that tight.

A bit slow and it doesn't restore to partitions/disks smaller than the size of the original partition, but it's rock-solid in imaging/cloning/restoring.

Updated setup from this one here. Updated and added a few programs. DriveSentry is on trial, not sure I will keep it. Reason for adding A-Squared and AVG Anti-Spyware Free versions is to have various an On-Demand Right Click options to scan individual files.
