    That's great. It's very annoying!

I'm using Opera 9.24 and ESS 3.0.560 with XP and having some problems with web browsing. Ocassionally webpages aren't loaded on first attempt with "connection closed by remote server" or "internal communication error" messages from Opera.
Also, Opera on start-up takes ages to open the initial webpage - sometimes I have to close it and re-start it.
Didn't have these problems with ESS RC1 and so far, no problems using Internet Explorer (although I normally rarely use IE).

    Very promising indeed.

The fix solved the issue on my machine (XP Home SP2 IE7).
Let's hope it also solves this issue on all other configurations which are being tested right now.

    That is top secret :ninja:

I guess the fix will be released after testing on many other configurations successfully.

    That may be very soon....:D

I also got this problem. Some times just no images are working on a page, just plain text.

I also got a problem that sometimes a page doesn't even load (Times out). One refresh and everything works fine again.

Very annoying this, and I hope ESET will fix this ASAP.

And lets hope this can be done by regular updates instead of having to download another new version. Thats where updates are for, to serve people updates too I presume :)

I got the test version (563) too from Eset and it really works! On Vista no more red X's in IE7 in any case.

I agree. This is what automatic updating is all about isn't it? They manage to update each individual module through this procedure so fingers crossed!
