    Greetings All,

Most have you have noticed that the latest version of our ISR technology does not include our "MBR Backup" application anymore. This is because you can now use Microsoft's intrinsic tools to restore the Master Boot Record (MBR) or the Partition Boot Record (PBR).

Although we have gone through great lengths to protect your system, we also do not want to hamper performance or interfere with other applications that need access to the MBR or PBR. We provide this flexibility, but the MBR or PBR may get damaged by another application, disk corruption, or a recent mal-ware attack.

If your system does not boot and the our pre-OS menu does not appear, this indicates possible corruption in the MBR or PBR, and this guide will assist in repairing those items: click here (pdf)

Although these tools are well documented by Microsoft, it can sometimes be difficult to find under stress. I put this information into a single concise document.
