No, most browsers display the code then write to cache. Some browsers use memory cache (ie Opera) as a "first port of call", then disk cache.

Depends on its implementation :) . Some scanners (ie Avast!) have minimal impact while others (ie Dr.Web.... still BETA..... so should improve)...
I was more on about "bugs" with ProcessGuard (ie incorrect handling of services.exe and rundll32.exe). They don't look like being fixed soon ???

aigle, i found Anti-Hook in finger print mode caused quite some lag on my system. Maybe its this opposed to OA that causes the slowdowns? 8)
