imo v10 is much better than v8 was. when v8 came out i stopped using it for a while. for me on all systems v10 performs much better than v8 or v9....

vlk, i use a stripped eset version. so i do not have the password manager, parental control, anti theft etc etc etc. and even using smart security...
basically anything other than the things needed for the av and or firewall. the web toolbar remover, search engine tools, system speedup junk,...
but usually these types of av's have little to no settings and auto delete etc. i have not had the chance to try it out yet but i will this week.

imo avira is super light on anything current. if you have a system that is a bit older then i agree it can be a bit heavy but anything more...
