Well HIPS is called Host Intrusion Protection so I don't see why not. It notifies you of any unwanted/unknown modifications being made.
I added that plug in exe to Sandboxie and youtube and other videos work fine. If Defencewall has a white list add it to that and see if that helps.
Seems Spyware Terminator was causing them. I removed it they stopped.
