hi phill thanks for info,I tried system restore and that didn't work so i uninstalled pg and reinstalled and now i have the std protection items...
dsl service went down last night in dallas so i shut my computer down this morning i restarted and found that all my settings in pg 2.0 were gone...
just a heads up for all interested,i installed sp2 on my machine tonight and 2.0 is working great although most of you may have allready done this.
just thought i would jump in and say i run bo clean and have added all four bc exe's ticked all allow flags and allowed global hooks since i have...
just answered my own question bo clean would not auto update with block checksum files from runnung enabled.
if you have block all new files from running in program checksum will programs like bo clean in which i have set to auto update be blocked from...

I have allowed msn instant messenger to set global hooks and i still get a log telling me that msnmsgr.exe was blocked from setting a low level...

ok i have ticked the global hook protection box and i now have two logs that say msn messenger was blocked from setting a global low level mouse...

just wondering are you supposed to leave PE up and running all the time or just when you want to check what is happening on your computer.

If you decide to apply the global hook protection do you need to reboot or just shut pg down and then restart also when you start getting logs...
