Ok when the ewido gaurd (guard.exe) is "active" and if you try to end it using task manager you can't, but if you make the "resident shield"...

Hm..go to start > run > type in "msconfig" ( without the quotes ) > go to the startup tab > uncheck anything with "ewido in it.

Its been happening for me for the last couple days, but wasn't sure if I didn't myself by accident too. But now I am sure it is doing it by itself.
