The one thing the me that is better about Eset SS, is the firewall. The logs are easier to read and configuration options are better.

For Win7 64 bit I would add Sandboxie with MSE.
Not all AV have BB and/or HIPS, I'm not speaking of EMsisoft... I'm just taking about AV's in general.
same goes for any AV, prevent a "normal" av from connecting to the update servers and it's dead in the water.
If the attacker has gained access to your PC (cloud or not) it will be a lot easier for them to do anything.
It would have to bypass the AV's real-time scanner to do this. If the malware has bypassed it, your done for in any case, where your scanner is...

Went back to Emsisoft AM (scan on execute) and HMP. If EAM had on-demand file scan caching, then I would be extremely happy.
AV companies have tools for forgotten password or removal tools for bad installs. I would guess that malware writers could easily reverse engineer...
