Exactly, for that to work Chrome has to be launched by the shortcut. No matter if you open new Windows/tabs after, it will block the canvas ID.
For those of you using Canvas "blockers" extensions, you can simply add the line: "--disable-reading-from-canvas" without the ""; to Chrome shortcut.
