MBAM's merits are SAS's demerits but don't forget that vice versa is also present;)
It offers protection similar to any traditional AV in addition to it provides some valuable tools so that even when you are infested with malware...
Its not good to compare SAS with MBAM, not saying that it will lead to A vs B scenario its just that both these products are very good at cleaning...
