Ashanta, I would say that Jo Ann's post is right-on (I have found her to be very knowledgeable in these matters). Scott
Hi there, A licensed copy of IFW v2.66 gave me those issues after installing it on a WinPE boot disk for cold-imaging and restoring. Scott
Wendi, you've got that right - I agree with you 100% :thumb: Regards, Scott
Showoff! :P
On my system IFL is somewhat faster than IFD, but TB really needs to redo its GUI (as they did with IFD)!
Brian, I get that rediculous warning everytime I run IFW from a WinPE boot disk! As far as understanding why, imho IFW was not designed to be a...
Brian, I have found that IFD took almost twice as long to backup/restore my C-drive as does IFW. As I recall I didn't see any noticeable...
Yes DOS always boots up quickly and I really like the new IFD GUI ...but in its present state it takes much longer than IFW to backup/restore...
@KOR!, Rather than repeat myself (as you have) you can see my reply to your comments (above) here. Scott
When you update the baseline you are rolling up all snapshots and their data into the current snapshot. You wind up with one new baseline snapshot...
KOR, where (specifically) am I confused? I'm completely aware of the steps to use IFW from a WinPE boot disk. But it just doesn't work...
Hi Brian, As you know IFW gives me (and some others) fits when attempting to use it as a portable app. Admittedly, it's a teriffic and...
All that I can confirm is that IFD and IFL are substantially slower than IFW (based on my experience). Scott
Kent, Thanks for sharing the feedback from Terabyte regarding our identical problem. That explains it. I also have another IFW issue whereby...
Ashanta, be sure to read this. KOR, I hope this doesn't sound prejudicial (as I actually own both DS & IFW), but I have experienced difficulties...

That's really not necessary, but it can't hurt - just be very careful not to 'Reset To Baseline'!!! I highly recommend that you read this...
Only if you uninstall RB to your current snapshot, which contains your most current data on D: Please note that if you were to uninstall to the...
While I think I understand what you are saying, without the Recovery Console it's no longer a "1-Click Restore"! ;) Btw, I thought that item 1...
But the link you provided is for the Pro Version's features! :doubt:
Thanks KOR, but I have enough testing planned for this weekend (I thought you might have already tried the free version to see if it's compatible...
Ashanta, in order to do that at this point, you will have to uninstall RB and reinstall it selecting custom installation. Then you can instruct it...
Hi KOR, As a user of Keriver 1-Click Restore (Free) can you tell me if it can be installed and work, without conflicting, with RB? Scott
Getting back on topic, after re-reading the posts in this thread by Jo Ann, TheRollbackFrog and Pandlouk, I'm rather confused as to the necessary...
I'm pretty sure that Drive Cloner is a clone of Keriver Image. Which product does HDS sell for $300 that is the same as K1CR? Scott
Separate names with a comma.
