Me either since my re-install on the 27th but it seems lots of other people are getting it. I also haven't rebooted since then so who knows. :lurking:
I would think you are correct but it might be worth jumping through the hoops to get a diagnosis from Eset.
I haven't had a repeat of the 100% yet since I re-installed.
Let us know how you get on it's pointless us all emailing Eset. :thumb:
How strange. :o
Tried a re-install ? Cleaning out the ESET folders and I haven't had a re-occurance yet. Suspect it has something to do with the update schedule...
Reboot or terminating ekrn.exe fixed it for me but it's not ideal.
Terminating ekrn.exe spawns a new process of ekrn.exe and proxy seems to remain in tact after successfully stopping EICAR in HTTP zip format and...
Thanks I was using .566 but installed it as an Upgrade will re-test by terminating ekrn.exe after a fresh install. Will report back.

25/11/2007 20:07:54 - During execution of Personal firewall on the computer STUDIO, the following warning occurred: An error occurred while...
I've just experienced this and I'm not using Comodo just Windows Firewall and a hardware firewall. ekrn.exe was at 100% and lagging my machine...
Still present in .566. :( Shame really.
Just a small bug. When you have email notifications enabled the subject contains %s:Warning. Not sure what the %s variable is for is there a quick...
I've just tried emailing the Eicar file with integration off and it was successfully deleted and mail was tagged in OE.
That's not very helpful at all. :thumbd:
Where do you send false positives to, is it still the same as described in the FAQ?
Agreed.
Hope not, this is a strange symptom, let's hope someone can answer this.
Phew, thought that was going to be half my download allowance gone for today. ;D
Just installed AAW 2007 Free the other day and so far no conflicts and have updates all apps, so far so good. Hope this is a False Positive. :o
Oooo that's handy. Well done ESET. :)
Can you recommend a HIPS program BS ?
Or repeatedly every 672 hours (Once every 4 weeks) :thumb:
