    I have tried running IE with no add-ons, with the same result. The problem is that DFX is still running.

    Good idea, bboyer. IE is not my main browser either. In fact, I hardly use it.

    Do you guys have DFX installed? An MVP on the TechNet Forum is suggesting that it is a conflict with DFX. And more here at Microsoft Answers.
