I`m running Windows 7 64-bit so maybe it is an issue with 64-bit systems. No idea, but it is an issue for sure.
Someone posted over at the IOBit forum about the memory issue: It's not getting back onto my system until that is fixed as well as knowing if...
Yeah, real time and the fact that the memory leak(s) have been resolved as well. I'm really not interested in any toolbar either.
Well, you have no idea who I am or what I do for a living so let's just say, I know what I'm doing and leave it at that.
Because you know what you are doing, test all of the anti virus solutions out there and decide on which one you wish to purchase and use?
I do just fine thank you. I think the whole tray icon thing is pretty silly.
As I stated earlier, they have started the process and hope to be in the next round of tests. That's all I know. Regardless, they have tested...
It's just a tray icon guys. Get over yourself. Maybe go get a hobby or something.
Fine I guess, but like I said, I personally don't see an issue with the appearance. I like the look of the program and I don't understand why...
Could you not say the same thing about ANY paid anti virus? Open Office is free, why would anyone BUY MS Office? They still do don't they?...
Are we seriously going to base our anti virus decisions on the tray icon? The icon is fine. I really don't see an issue. It's a blue...
I suppose, but that's the word I got straight up from them and they have been very good in their contact with me. Like I said, I have tested it...
I have contacted Sunbelt about this and apparently it is a long process that they have initiated, but you can't just call up AV Comparatives and...
Well, that's hardly a reason to dismiss an anti virus product don't you think? Look at the MSE tray icon if you want ugly. I like the tray...
Ah, that makes sense now. Thanks for the post. I'll watch for the new version and maybe try it again.
Been using Vipre for a while now and love it. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone and do quite often. Very fast scans, very light on...
I got a free license key and have been trying the Pro version. There has to be some sort of memory leak with this program. I have had it where I...
Like a previous poster in this thread, I can respect that everyone a different opinion. With that being said, I have been using TF since the...
yeah, and I was testing the 64-bit beta and had some issues, but never got any response at all. Not great support to date anyway.
It is both realtime and a scanner. Although I suppose the scanner is moreso for rootkits.
No ThreatFire on that list?
Have you tested ThreatFire? While not a true stand alone anti virus, just curious to see how it does.
I'm sorry, but this post is a lot of rumor and make belief. Pure FUD. I have used Vipre pretty much since it went into beta on several systems...
It is the main reason why I tried and then uninstalled Kaspersky. The drag was brutal. I could not do anything while the scan was happening and...
Well, until I hear anything back, I think I'm uninstalling this. If you have some more info or a newer beta that does not have these issues, then...
