You're using too much security programs with KAV. Try to put one by one into trusted applications to see what program it is.

Like said Baz, users from versions 6 and 7 are perfectly protected. KL have updates starting with 15 minutes.
He was infected before installing KAV or KIS. And like said harlan4096, if he scans in safe mode, KAV or KIS probably will clean it up.

KIS 2009 won't have problems with chkdsk.It's been fixed since the first alpha version.
