Version 4 also runs flawlessly on my PC, knocking on wood as I type. I went from 2.7 to 4.0 and I only used 3.0 for a couple of hours. No problems...
Did you install over the top of your previous version, or did you do a clean install??? My PC has 4000 right now.

These are updates that are release daily by NOD. There's no way all their software can connect at the same time to update. Some will connect...
After reading this thread I decided to wait it out before trying to update manually. NOD just updated on it's own to 3995 at 10:15pm.

Me too. I have not notice any performance difference at between 2.7 and 4.0.417.
Avira is also great AV but it does suffer from a lot more false positives compared to ESET. Look at the latest AV comparatives....

I initially installed 3.0 on Tues 3/31 for about 4 hours only. My license for 2.7 had 0 days left at the time. Also I'm very familiar with NOD....
Roger I've been using NOD 4.0 since last Tuesday with no issues at all. Initially last Monday I updated from 2.7 to 3.0 and renewed my license....
I uninstalled the trial of 4.0.314 on Friday and have been running the paid version of 4.0.417 with no issues so far, knocking on wood. :)
