It still fails the GRC leak test when used alongside KAV 7. Passes fine alongside Avira Antivir though so I've switched A/V's to that.

I'm using KAV 7 with Comodo 3 Firewall and have noticed a problem with Comodo not being able to firewall applications properly due to KAV routing...
If I turn Kaspersky A/V off it passes but that's not really much help!

The GRC leaktest seems to be totally useless as it claims to be able to connect to the GRC server via Comodo even with my USB modem disconnected!!
I tried it with the firewall set to 'Train with safe mode' and Defense + set to 'Clean PC mode' and it failed... ???
It's fine for a novice as long as you install it in basic mode with no Defense + in my opinion. I'm lovin' v3 so far to be honest. Nice and light...

I noticed that with KIS as well, I could not get it to pass as stealthed on Shields Up so off it came....
I find it very strange. especially as it's probably aimed at people who would rather 'set and forget' yet on default settings the inbound firewall...
You definitely need to twesk the firewall as the default mode is not stealthed!! Turning it up one notch sorts out the problem.
The firewall is not stealthed with default settings. It needs turning up before it passes... On the first scan it found a false positive as well....
Slightly O/T but does Avira Antivir Premium's ability to remove viruses match it's excellent detection rates? If so I may switch from KAV 7 as...
Bearing in mind these tests are carried out with non standard settings are they of any value in working out which A/V performs the best with...
