You can't have the latest version without the bloat unfortunately. Why not use Comodo installed in basic mode? That shouldn't hassle you and...
That build isn't an official MS release so thet's probably your problem. RC2 build v3311 is the latest publicly available build....
I think it's a fantastic piece of free software and definitely my favourite firewall that I've used so far.
Another day another Comodo bug fix...... It updated without any drama, I didn't even need to reboot.
Working great here. I have the icon hidden and try not to worry about pending files. ;D
What we need here isn't a software developer but a shrink... ;D
So what? You can just ignore them with no ill effects.
Why not just hide the Comodo icon, leave it alone to protect you, and forget about pending files? If you need to do anything it will alert you. I...
Have you ever heard of anyone who was using Comodo getting hacked? I haven't. 8)
Same combination here. Combined they use less than 20MB of RAM and seemingly rock solid protection. I don't really feel like I need any other...

That still throws up pop ups though in my experience albeit less of them
Could you not just go.... right click on comodo icon---defense + security level-----disabled ....every time you install something and then...
Lat's hope they don't decide it's too good to remain a freebie eh? ;)
Maybe you could hibernate your computer instead of having to boot up every time?
I found this a bit worrying regarding the value of being stealthed: Being "stealth" doesn't really add any security at all, nor does it really...
I agree, it's unbelievable quality for a free product. 8)
Yes Comodo free is fully stealthed by default.
Personally I would fully enable Defense + in 'clean PC mode' and disable Proactive Defense. Comodo still has a problem with KAV's use of loopback...
